1. Who we are

This website is operated by FASO SEJOUR ET HEBERGEMENTS (RCCM BF-OUA-01-2026-B13-10232, IFU 00314451K), Rue 27.02, BP 3145 Ouagadougou 01, Burkina Faso. We are responsible for the personal data collected through www.fasosejour.com. Contact: [email protected] · +226 75 24 00 00.

2. What data we collect

  • Booking data: your name, email address, phone number, stay dates, number of guests and any requests you send us.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and your message.
  • Payment data: amount, date and reference of your payments. Card and mobile money payments (Orange Money, Wave) are processed by the payment providers; we never store your card details.
  • Identity data: where required by local regulations for guest registration, a copy or the details of your ID document.
  • Technical data: cookies needed for the website to work (session, language, booking in progress).

3. Why we use your data

  • to manage your booking, your stay and your payments;
  • to answer your questions and send you practical information about your stay;
  • to issue invoices and meet our accounting and legal obligations;
  • to ask for your feedback after your stay (you can opt out at any time).

We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

4. Who can access it

Only the FasoSejour team can access your data, on a need-to-know basis. It may also be processed by the following providers, strictly for the services they provide to us:

  • Odoo S.A.: hosting of the website and of our management software;
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: website security and delivery (protection against attacks, encrypted connection);
  • Meta Platforms / WhatsApp: if you contact us on WhatsApp or agree to receive messages about your booking and your stay there;
  • Payment providers (Orange Money, Wave, banks and card processors): processing of your payments;
  • Booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com…): if you booked through one of them.

Some of these providers may process your data outside Burkina Faso; they are bound by security and confidentiality commitments. We share your data with public authorities only when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

  • Bookings, invoices and payments: 10 years, as required by accounting law.
  • Contact messages: up to 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Identity data: only for as long as required by the applicable regulations.

6. Cookies

We only use cookies that are needed for the website to work: keeping your session, remembering your language and your booking in progress. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

Under Burkina Faso's personal data protection law (Law No. 001-2021/AN), you can access, correct or delete your data, and object to its use. Just email us at [email protected] — we'll reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Commission de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CIL) of Burkina Faso.

8. Security

Your data is stored on secure servers, accessible only to authorized people, and transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
